I have a B.S. in Elementary Education from Auburn University acquired in 1979, and a Masters in Elementary Education acquired in 1983. I taught in the Alabama public school system for twenty-seven years, and now work part time in a private preschool two mornings a week.
Experience
I have over 30 years experience teaching in public school, private school, and homeschool. I have been on two elementary school principal selection committees, and helped to choose text books for the elementary schools where I was employed. While teaching four year old children at a local private school, I helped design a more challenging academic curriculum to include more language and math skills. Teaching is what I love and nothing gives me more satisfaction than helping young minds acquire new knowledge.

Hobbies
I have been married for 43 years, have two children, and four grandchildren. My favorite hobbies are organizing, reading, and spending time with my husband and grandchildren. I love to share my experiences through writing and speaking. I have self-published two books on Amazon concerning my spiritual journey and my teaching experience. Learning is absolutely a lifelong process. It is pure joy for me to help others become lifelong learners too.
