Over the years, I have tutored my friends and younger siblings in classes they have struggled with. Helping my brother (12th grade) and sister (Sophomore in college) has kept me well-versed on remedial work I might have otherwise forgotten. My mother taught English at the middle school, high school, and college levels; she now teaches classes and privately tutors ACT English. As you can imagine, she has taught me many tricks of the trade, and I am particularly proficient in English at all levels (my favorite subject). I have tutored as a volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club in Auburn for 2 years. I am used to working with students who need accommodations, both within my family and within the community. I have spent time with people who have a diverse range of abilities, including volunteering at United Ability Summer Day Camp for 4 years and Muscular Dystrophy Summer Camp for 2 years. My rates are negotiable. Depending on the content I will be tutoring and the preparation necessary, I will charge at least $15 but up to $25. I do not have a car at school, and as such cannot meet far away from Auburn's main campus without a ride. If you prefer to meet somewhere other than a location on Auburn's campus (like RBD library) or the Auburn Public Library (on Thatch) please let me know.
