Experience
I have tutored for Cell Biology at Auburn for the last three years. I train undergraduate student in molecular biology concepts and in-lab techniques. I tutored for UAB TRIO academic services (3 years). I was also a resident assistant for a science living/learning community where I created and ran programs for succeeding in college sciences. I have taken a variety of biology and chemistry courses from invertebrate biology to advance molecular genetics to organic chemistry. 90% courses complete with an 92 and/or above. I am Education Director with Fresh Air Family (www.freshairfamily.org), an organization focused on getting children outdoors and learning. Generally I approach tutoring sessions by outlining what you are covering in your courses. I hope to help with understanding the pathways and connections between the concepts you are learning, and provide useful examples and resources for your subject. I also test your knowledge, and give you areas to focus your efforts in based on your gaps/needs. What I do not provide- last minute test review.
