Senior at Auburn University. My major is MIS which is in the School of Business and deals with computers, technology and their relationship with people. MIS people are the communication/link between people/businesses and technology.
Experience
Recently, I tutor a 9th grader in English and Literature about 2 times a week. He was failing last November and completed this year (May 2016) with a high C in English. I helped him with basic English pronunciation and spelling, projects, papers, etc. I tutored a great 5th grader in all subjects. I helped him with every aspect of his homework, about 3 times a week. I enjoy tutoring because I enjoy helping people. It gives me s sense of well-being. When I successfully tutor others I feel as though I am doing my part for the greater good. I tutored an 8th grader mostly in math but some in English and Latin as well. I have also helped with ACT prep and papers for one-time tutorees. I am extremely organized and have a logical and analytical way of thinking so I love to solve problems. I enjoy tutoring any English. I am very successful when it comes to writing essays and papers. The Beach/Lake, Baking, Reading, Volleyball, Movies, Documentaries, Animals, Being with friends and family, anything technical (computers, phones, game consoles, tablets, etc). Church of the Highlands is where I spend most of my time. I love being involved at this church and it has helped me get through some of my toughest times. I do not drink, smoke, or party because it takes too much time away from school. I am determined to graduate as soon as I can. I have been told that I am a very persistent and hard worker.
