I am currently a Sophomore at Auburn University majoring in Chemical Engineering, minoring in Spanish, and planning on going to Medical School. I enjoy working with kids and would like to do all I can to help yours succeed. I would love to make a difference in someone's life by giving him the confidence to succeed in anything he does.

I have always loved teaching new things to people, so naturally I enjoy helping students of all ages with schoolwork. When I was in middle school, I tutored elementary school kids in various subjects and loved it! After graduating from college (Auburn University), I have helped several college students (mostly with science courses) but also with general study skills. I graduated from AU in 2003 with a BS in Zoology/Pre-Vet.
I originally considered becoming a teacher (just like my mother, who is an elementary school teacher in North Alabama), and I even took a few education classes here at Auburn. I really enjoyed them, especially since I was able to use my creativity for constructive teaching purposes. Ultimately, I decided I wanted to try and get myself through the pre-vet curriculum and into vet school.
Currently, I work in the Histopath Lab out at the vet school and I am also a part-time graduate student (Biomedical Science, Pathology).

The only teaching expierence that I have is helping my fifteen year old cousin out with her studies. I have never worked as a labeled tutor. I am a Business Administration major with a Spanish minor. In high school, I volunteered at a Hoover, Alabama elementary school to help Hispanic children with their homework. I have periodically tutored my little sister, who is a junior in high school, in her Spanish classes. I was fortunate enough to attend a high school that was challenging and really taught students how to study. I am very organized and enjoy getting all the materials needed together before studying and being organized before starting.
