I don't have much experience in formal tutoring, but I have always been pretty good at working with friends and helping them understand math and science concepts. I scored a 1260 on the SAT (690 math).

With the exception of Calculus, I took every math class available to me in high school. I didn't have room in my schedule for AP Calc during my senior year and opted to take it my freshman year at Auburn. My grades were consistently A's and B's.

In addition to math, I also work well with ADD and ADHD students. Being ADD myself, I understand how difficult it can be to overcome distractions and focus on the task at hand. I've learned to properly handle my work and I think I can help students do the same.

Hobbies:

I'm 20 years old and I love all sports, especially Auburn football. Beyond my love of sports, I'm an Eagle Scout and I'm still active scouting as an Assistant Scoutmaster.

In high school, I split my time between scouting, sports and the theater, where I did behind-the-scenes tech work as my high school's first student Technical Director.

I think that what makes history easier to understand and remember is a comprehensive understanding why event A leads to event B rather than memorizing dates, but study and organization skills can help achieve these goals as well.
